The World Crane and Transport Summit is the world’s premier crane and transport conference for industry professionals. Network, share industry knowledge and hear industry leaders offer high value presentations on topics that affect our industry.
Asia is an important global market for cranes and specialized transport equipment. In addition to developed areas like Japan, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong, it is also home to important, and large, developing markets such as Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. China, meanwhile, is both a vast and developing market.
World Cranes and Specialist Transport Asia (WCTS Asia) will provide an essential meeting place for the region’s crane and specialist transport owners and users. It will be a place to learn from each other and to make or renew important business contacts.
The conference will help reactivate the market as it recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event also forms part of the Singapore Crane Week 2021 being organised by Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSH Council). This will include the WSC crane safety symposium as well as recruitment events and open days during the week.
WCTS Asia will encompass the entire range of lifting and specialised transport equipment, including mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, SPMT, transport trailers and specialist lifting techniques.
The event will include a networking reception on the evening of 29 September followed by the one-day conference on 30 September, with topics to include:
• Keynote speeches by senior industry figures;
• Major project reports;
• Crane technology trends;
• Tower crane developments;
• Safety and training best practices.
